Dispatch, the data infrastructure platform that enables the wealth industry to run revenue-critical workflows, today announced the appointment of Patrick Dunne as head of wealth and asset management. Dunne brings more than 25 years of experience leading operations, building technology-enabled businesses, and driving innovation across wealth management and financial services.

In his new role, Dunne will advise Dispatch customers on strategic and operational decisions, including how to modernize their technology infrastructure, streamline workflows, and incorporate AI into their businesses. He will also collaborate with Dispatch’s product and sales teams to help inform the company’s product roadmap and ensure its capabilities address the evolving needs of wealth management firms. Additionally, he will help educate the broader industry on the importance of a modern wealth technology stack and the role of unified data infrastructure in enabling firms to operate more efficiently and grow.

“Dispatch is building the infrastructure that solves the most complex and messy data problems for wealth management firms that enables them to scale efficiently and capture more revenue,” said Rob Nance, co-founder and chief executive officer of Dispatch. “Patrick has spent his career navigating exactly these challenges, from integrating acquisitions and building new advisory models to leading technology and operational transformation at some of the industry’s most influential firms. His expertise will be a major asset to our customers as they leverage technology to power revenue-critical workflows, get AUM earning sooner, and help their clients achieve their financial goals.”

Dunne most recently served as chief operating officer of Hightower Advisors, where he led operations through a period of significant growth, integrated numerous acquisitions, and helped launch Hightower Signature Wealth, the firm’s first national direct-to-consumer advisory practice. Previously, he held leadership roles at Jordan Park and LendingClub and spent much of his career at BlackRock, where he led teams across iShares, global markets, and securities lending and served on the firm’s global operating committee.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen how fragmented technology and manual processes can limit a firm’s ability to scale, even when the business itself is growing rapidly,” said Dunne. “Dispatch is addressing a foundational challenge for the industry by connecting systems and turning data into action across critical workflows. I’m excited to work with our customers and the industry at large to reshape how wealth management firms operate, build more effective technology foundations and use emerging capabilities like AI to deliver meaningful business outcomes.”

Dunne’s appointment comes as Dispatch continues to expand its platform and industry presence. In September, the company launched Dispatch API, enabling technology providers to embed account-opening workflows into their own products. Earlier this summer, Dispatch introduced Advisor Transitions, helping firms move advisors and client assets between firms. Dispatch has helped customers transition more than $20 billion in client assets, while the collective assets managed by customers on its platform have grown from approximately $900 billion to more than $9 trillion over the past year.
